She was born to Nena de la Reguera and Augusto Gardoqui, in Veracruz, Mexico, on April 8, 1977 as Anabell Gardoqui De La Reguera. She has one sister, Alicia.

Her full name is Anabell Gardoqui de la Reguera. Her mother was once the crowned champion of Miss Veracruz. She dated actor Tony Dalton from 2018 to 2019. She also previously had a relationship with news presenter Jorge Ramos.
